1. Agreement to these terms
By accessing or using BrownSec, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the website or its tools.
2. What the service does
BrownSec provides a browser-based Lua/Luau code-processing tool. The current web build performs lightweight tokenization and code compaction; it does not guarantee strong obfuscation, encryption, or protection against reverse engineering. Features or results may change as the project develops.
3. Your code and responsibilities
You retain responsibility for code you enter, process, copy, or download. You must have the rights and permissions needed to use that code, and you must not use BrownSec to violate laws, third-party rights, game or platform rules, or other applicable terms.
4. Output and testing
The output may not behave exactly like the original code in every case. Keep an original backup, inspect the result, and test it in a safe environment before relying on it. BrownSec makes no promise that the output will be error-free, compatible with every runtime, or suitable for a particular purpose.
5. Availability and changes
The website may be changed, suspended, or discontinued at any time. We may add, remove, or modify features and these terms as the project evolves.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The website and its tools are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by applicable law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, correctness, security, or specific results.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, BrownSec is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, code issues, service interruption, or damage resulting from reliance on the website or its output. Nothing in these terms excludes liability where doing so is prohibited by law.
8. Third-party links
Links such as the Discord support invite lead to services operated by others. BrownSec is not responsible for their content, availability, or policies.
