1. Information you provide
The current BrownSec website does not require an account and does not provide a form for submitting personal information. The Lua/Luau text you enter into the obfuscator is processed by the JavaScript running in your browser; the current site code does not send that source text to a BrownSec application backend.
2. Hosting and connection data
When you visit the website, the hosting and delivery infrastructure may process ordinary request and security information, such as an IP address, requested page, browser information, and request time. The handling and retention of this infrastructure data depend on the hosting provider and deployment configuration. BrownSec does not control the provider’s independent operational logs.
3. Cookies, analytics, and storage
The files included in this website package do not implement account storage, analytics scripts, or advertising trackers. Your browser may still use standard technical features, and the hosting provider may use security or operational mechanisms as part of delivering the site.
4. Clipboard, downloads, and your code
Copy and download actions are initiated in your browser. Do not paste passwords, access tokens, private keys, or other secrets into a code tool unless you understand the risks of keeping that information in your local browser environment. You are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to use any code you submit.
5. Third-party services
The website links to Discord for community and support. Opening that link takes you to a third-party service governed by its own terms and privacy practices. Review those policies before sharing information there.
6. Children and sensitive information
Please do not use the website to submit sensitive personal information about yourself or anyone else. The tool is not designed to collect personal data.
7. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the website or its practices change. The date above indicates the latest revision of this page. Continued use of the website after an update means you have had an opportunity to review the revised policy.
